Even though this is my second time reading this book, I still cried over Rukku’s death. I mean, I’m glad Viji and Celina Aunty got Rukku help. But if it wasn’t for Amma to tell Viji that if they took Rukku to a hospital, and put her in a mental disorder facility, Rukku wouldn’t have died.
It is not their mothers fault, because I bet that she told them to not run away, but they did that anyway. They could have just broken that rule too. It is vigis fault for forcing Rukku to live in a mosquito infested place, which the mosquitos brought sickness. If it is anyone’s fault, its Vigis fault or the dad’s fault.
First of all, Viji and Rukku only left because they were getting abused. Second of all, Viji didn’t force Rukku to live in a mosquito infested place, that was all on the trash market man who tried to kidnap them. They had no other choice. It was all Amma’s fault because she was holding Viji back from getting help.
